Cincinnati EXCITE evaluates position within the AISL for the upcoming 2008-09 season.

The Cincinnati EXCITE are in the process of evaluating its position within the American Indoor Soccer League for the 2008 - 09 season. The EXCITE will evaluate the overall organization and its strategy before moving forward as a professional indoor soccer team in the Tri-State. With the breakup of the Major Indoor Soccer League, the Cincinnati EXCITE has many options to consider within the sport of pro indoor soccer within the United States.

The EXCITE would like to thank all of its corporate sponsors and fans who have supported us over the past 4 seasons, which includes an AISL championship during the 2005-06 season (setting the bar for the rest of the new AISL franchises).

Drive for Season Five

The Excite are on the road for their 'Drive for Season Five' season ticket campaign. We're looking for 500 Excite fans who are willing to put down a $30.00 deposit for Excite season tickets for the upcoming 2008-09 season. The deadline for the deposit is June 30, 2008.

The reason is because of the increased number of fans and limited amount of seating at the arena. We will also evaluate the future of the organization and the true support from the Cincinnati soccer community. Please share this information with anyone who is a soccer fan and willing to keep pro indoor soccer in Cincinnati.

Excite Return Home to Double Up Rebels 14-7

The Cincinnati Excite played their first home game in almost two months and rewarded the season high crowd of 576 with a 14-7 win over the Northern Illinois Rebels last night at the Game Time Training Center in Fairfield.

Matt Brienes led the Excite (4-4) with a two-point goal and two one-point goals. 'We kept possession. Everything is counterattack. That�s what it�s all about and I�m pretty happy about that,' Brienes said.

Excite Hold Off Revolution 5-4 in Tulsa Tonight

The Cincinnati Excite ruined the hopes of the Tulsa soccer fans tonight as they would come out on the long end of a 5-4 nailbiter over the Revolution in front of a lively crowd of 664 at Soccer City Tulsa in the Revs' inaugural game.

'I'm thrilled with the turnout tonight, and it reinforces my faith in the soccer community in Tulsa,' said team president Adam Mellor after the game. 'Although we lost, I think that we built a solid base on which to build upon for the rest of the season and the future.' The Revolution will return to the field next Saturday night when they will host the league leading Rockford Rampage at Soccer City Tulsa with kickoff scheduled for 7:30PM. The Excite will return to the Game Time Training Center next Saturday night when they host the Northern Illinois Rebels at 7:30PM

Cincinnati Excite Goalkeepers are proud to offer our winter training program for both boy and girl Goalkeepers ages 9 to 12 years old, and Goalkeepers ages 13 and older. This once a week program will be held at Game Time Training Center, the Home of the Cincinnati Excite Professional Indoor Soccer Team. The Cincinnati Excite Goalkeepers are Jim Adams, Steve Tabar, Zac Van Frank, & Lance Uffer.

EXCITE Season Tickets on Sale

With the release of the official AISL schedule this past week, EXCITE season tickets will go on sale Monday, August 13.

Season tickets are $50 for an adult and $40 for a student / child for the 2007-08 season. Season ticket holders will be able to hand pick their seats for the entire EXCITE season on Saturday, October 27 at the GameTime Training Center from 12pm - 3pm. Fans will then be invited to "Meet and Greet" this year's EXCITE players at Dave & Buster's from 4pm - 8pm on October 27. This year - the EXCITE will have an exclusive WILL CALL window which will allow fans easy access to pick up their tickets and they will not have to wait in line."
